Susan Brune Speaks on Thorny Hedge Fund Hypotheticals

March 6, 2013 | Practicing Law Institute

Susan Brune spoke on ethical and practical issues that arise in the representation of hedge funds as part of a Practising Law Institute seminar devoted to hedge enforcement and regulatory developments. Susan addressed issues related to the representation of multiple clients in a single proceeding, the potential for conflicts of interest, and what to do when developments trigger the need for separate counsel later in the representation. Other speakers included in-house counsel, attorneys from the SEC, and criminal prosecutors.
